Workshop – Photogrammetry for 3D Model Creation (TJ Ferrill, Assist. Head of Creative Spaces)

In this workshop, we will explore the creation of 3D models using photogrammetry, a technique that uses pattern recognition to estimate 3D shapes based on still image sets. The workshop will walk through the basic workflow of taking the photographs, using the Meshroom photogrammetric software, and possible applications of this technique. During the workshop participants will have a chance to try this process out using their own smart phone or digital camera.
