Digital Matters is excited to announce our second workshop of the Fall Semester!

Join Juliana Landis, current Digital Matters Fellow, for a presentation and discussion of her in-progress project exploring housing justice in Salt Lake City through a digital humanities lens.

Her research, “Mapping Displacement, Mapping Possibility,” builds on spatial data analysis and incorporates community storytelling to examine the complex relationship between development and displacement in Salt Lake County. Drawing on new data sources and oral histories, the project critically engages with existing displacement risk models and asks: How can data be used not just to understand housing insecurity, but to imagine more equitable futures?
