DESCRIPTION:Join us on November 13th in the Digital Matters room for Gabrielle LaFalam’s “Intro to Meshy AI and 3D Printing for Artists and Researchers.” \nGabby is an MFA candidate in studio art at the College of Art and Art History\, concentrating in Illustration\, with a final exhibition slated for Gittins Gallery in Spring 2027. For Gabby’s fellowship\, she will explore projection mapping and AI- assisted mesh generation for 3D printing-processes that converge into a spatial simulation: an immersive illustrated environment examining the fractured relationship between humanity and technology. Join Gabby to learn how AI-assisted tools and 3D printing can open up new possibilities for creative research and artistic practice.
